2012 ACTIVITIES
Activities and Events Open To The Public: 

  • FLEA MARKET – Every Thursday in June, July and August (September weather permitting) at the Manitowish Waters Community Center/Airport complex adjacent to Hwy. 51 mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
  • BINGO – Every Monday in June, July (except July 16), and August at the Manitowish Waters Community Center.  Doors open at 6 PM and Bingo begins at 7 PM.  Full concessions available. 
  • PANCAKE BREAKFASTS – May 27 (Memorial Day weekend Sunday) and September 23 (Colorama weekend Sunday) at the Manitowish Waters Community Center, 8 AM to noon.  
  • GOLF OUTING – September 16, joint golf tournament with Boulder Junction Lions Club at Trout Lake Golf Club.  Public is welcome to participate. 
  • PORK CHOP DINNERS – June 21, July 26 and August 16 in the Lions Pavilion behind the Manitowish Waters Community Center, 5 to 7 PM
  • JULY 4th COMMUNITY CELEBRATION – July 4 at the Manitowish Waters Community Center, 9 AM to 4 PM.  The Lions Club sponsors the beverage stand in the Lions Pavilion. 
  • ANNUAL CASH RAFFLE and LUNCH – September 2 (Labor Day weekend Sunday) at the Manitowish Waters Community Center at 5 PM.  Complimentary lunch and refreshments provided.  Raffle tickets sold locally by Manitowish Waters Lions Club members.

  • February 16 at MW Community Center - Zone 3 Joint meeting
  • March 15 at Ding-a-Ling
  • April 19 at Rustic Roadhaus – Officer Election
  • May 10 at Aberdeen Lodge – Awards and Ladies Night
  • June 14 at Voss Birchwood Lodge – Officer Installation
  • September 20 at Lions Pavilion – Member Steak Fry (5 – 7 pm)
